Am I Eligible for a PPI Refund?
Unlike some application qualifications, you don't have to meet all of the following list. If you meet only one of the listed conditions, you are eligible to file a mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance or PPI claim for policy premiums and interest charged.
Although you didn't ask for the PPI policy, the premiums were added to your policy anyway.
You were not informed that PPI was optional, or you were not told it might be cheaper elsewhere.
Either you were told PPI coverage was required, or it was implied that purchasing PPI improved your chances of obtaining financing.
You were retired, unemployed or self-employed at the time you purchased the coverage.
No one explained policy exclusions, such as back injuries or stress-related injuries.
You were at or above the upper age limit, usually 65 or 70 years of age, at the time of the PPI policy sale.
You already had an alternative method of meeting your repayment obligations, such as an employee benefit package or income protection, and no one asked about it at the time of the PPI sale.
You had a medical condition or illness at the time of purchase that could have kept you from working.
Lastly, you purchased the PPI policy to cover a long-term loan, but no one told you that the coverage was actually for a shorter time period.
If your situation matches even one of the above qualifications, apply online today to initiate your mis-sold PPI claim.
